The Mira Mesa-Scripps Running Club is a Youth Running and Fitness club devoted to the promotion of running and fitness as a lifestyle choice for today’s youth. The club was created to give young runners a basic introduction to distance running, nutrition, stretching, core fitness, strength training, and making running and fitness part of your daily routine. If your young runner wants to become a competitive runner, we will move them slowly into competitions such as Youth Cross Country Races in the Fall, as well as Youth Track & Field Meets in the Spring/Summer. It is our hope that our young, club runners will become High School Cross Country and Track Runners, as well as lifelong runners and fitness enthusiasts.
